What the New Q Anniversary Page looks like... quitnet.squarespace.com/January 27, 2015 3, 2, 1 . . . LAUNCH! Exciting news, QuitNet community! The new QuitNet will officially launch on March 2, 2015. Here’s what you need to know for the launch: Starting at 5:00 PM EDT on February 27, Quitnet.com will be unavailable while we upgrade to the new system. At 6:00 AM EDT on Monday, March 2, the new QuitNet will be ready and available for you to begin (or continue) your journey! On March 2, we will email existing QuitNet members a special sign-up link. You'll need to use this to transfer information from your old QuitNet account to your new profile. We'll also post the link here on the blog. The first thing you will see when you visit the new QuitNet.com is a place to create a new account. Your name in the New Q will show up as your first name and the first initial of your last name, and your old QuitNet username will be a nickname on your new profile. Remember: after you create an account in the New Q, you can import your quit date, stats, and buddies from the old QuitNet into your new account. Although your library posts, Q-Mail messages, and journal entries won’t move with you to the new version of QuitNet, we’ve made it easy to download and keep them for your own records. Check out the screencast below for a preview of what you’ll see on March 2! We’re excited to share these changes with you, and can’t wait to hear what you think once you give it a try.
